14 mountaineers scale Mt Manaslu

KATHMANDU, Nepal- Fourteen climbers of the Seven Summits Manaslu Expedition 2013 have successfully climbed the summit of Mt Manaslu- the 8163 meters high peak- that is the eighth tallest peak in the world.
The team led by Tunc Findik has reached the summit on September 25, according to a press statement issued by the Tourism Industry Division under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

Other members of the team were Ji Han from China, Yi Wang from China, Yang Gao of China, Xiangwen Kou from China, Hiroyuki Ishikawa from Japan, Yaskuko Kikuchi from Japan and Nepali climbing guides Satish Man Pati, Panuru Sherpa, Mingma Chhiring Sherpa, Karma Gyalje Sherpa, Pemba Sherpa, Sona Sherpa and Tendi Sherpa.
The division had given the expedition team 75 days, starting September 6, to climb the mountain based in Gorkha district located west of Kathmandu.
