Sicurezza neve e valanghe – Video tutorial scialpinismo base – Episodio 3

Questo terzo episodio si occupa di quanto dobbiamo sapere dal punto di vista della prevenzione e della sicurezza quando pratichiamo lo scialpinismo e degli accorgimenti che dobbiamo mettere in atto in caso si valanga. Mi informo sulle condizioni del tempo e del vento dei giorni precedenti. Consulto il bollettino meteo e quello delle valanghe. Avere artva, pala e sonda non basta, occorre saperli usare. In caso di incidente dovuto a una slavina chiamo i soccorsi e comunico la mia posizione. Devo però sapere intervenire anch’io. La ricerca e il disseppellimento di un eventuale sepolto deve avvenire nel più breve tempo possibile.

EPISODE 3 – SNOW AND AVALANCHE SAFETY 

In this episode we will explain what we must know about safety and prevention when we go out for ski touring and what we should do in case of avalnche. We try to get information about the weather and the wind of the previous days. I consult the weather forecast as well as the snow report, and the avalanche forecast for the area.It’s not enough to carry the safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe), it’s also essential to know how to use them. In case of accident with people trapped under an avalanche I call the rescue but I also must be able to search. Location, uncovering and thermic insulation of the victim must be very fast.
