KATHMANDU, Nepal–Italian Ambassador to Nepal Daniel Mancini said Nepal could be a happening destination for Italian tourists. During a meeting with the office-bearers of Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) at the chamber´s secretariat in Kathmandu on Monday, Ambassador Mancini said Nepal could be one of the major tourist destinations for European tourists, according to reports published in Tuesday’s daily newspapers.
He also urged Nepali business people to participate in the ´Milano Trade Fair in 2015´.
On the Occasion, Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, president of NCC, stressed the need to strengthen economic and trade relations between Nepal and Italy.
Shrestha reportedly urged the Italian envoy to facilitate Nepali exporters to take part in trade fairs held in Italy for expanding relation between businesspeople of both the countries.
Shrestha also informed Mancini about investment opportunities in Nepal´s tourism, hydropower, education, health and agriculture sectors among others.
