KATHMANDU, Nepal–An international conference on material Science and Engineering is going to be held in Kathmandu from September 7-10.
The Kathmandu Symposia on Advanced Materials-2014, the second international conference focusing on Bio-related Materials, is being organised by Nepal Polymer Institute (NPI) in association with Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Université de Rouen in France and Humboldt Club Nepal.
The technical programme of the conference will comprise lectures and poster sessions providing a survey of recent developments in the field, according to a statement issued by the organisers.
About 160 participants have already registered for the conference. More than 100 of the participants are distinguished delegates representing over 11 countries.
According to organizers, speakers in the meet include Professor Leiv K Sydnes of University of Bergen in Norway, Professor Goerg H Michler of Martin Luther University in Germany, Professor Jean Marc Saiter of Université de Rouen, Professor Ram P Singh of Indian Academy of Social Sciences, Professor Natalie Stingelin of Imperial College in London and Professor Christopher K Ober of Cornell University in the US.
