KATHMANDU, Nepal– In this June 27 photo taken by Photo Journalist Bijaya Gajmer, Rihana Sheikh,19, of mid-western region of Banke district is seen lying at bed in her shed following a brief treatment in a hospital in the Capital Kathmandu after her husband Farid and in laws allegedly set her fire for not bringing a motorcycle and a water buffalo in dowry. The image has been awarded with the ‘Photo of the Year’ with a cash prize of Rs. 100,000 and a certificate by Photojournalist (PJ) Club Nepal on Wednesday evening at Nepal Art Council in Baber Mahal.
