KATHMANDU, Nepal– Some 31,000 foreign tourists visited various tourism sites of Myagdi district in the western province of Nepal in 2014.
A total of 31,256 foreign tourists visited the sites including the Annapurna Circuit, and Ghodepani, Dhaulagiri Circuit, Annapurna-Dhaulagiri Eco Trekking Route in fiscal year 2014/015, according to National News Agency RSS report. The numbers is high in compare to the last year.
Among the total visitors two third paid visit to Ghodepani, one of the tourist hub place of the district. Tourists are counted in entry points of Bhurung Tatopani, Area Police Ghodepani and Area Police Office Darbang. However, the number of tourists has decreased as compared to last FY, when some 41,190 had visited the district.
