KATHMANDU, Nepal–Service with smiling face! Perhaps all service searcher or clients expect positive and al time beamish expression from the staffs and office where they get daily services or helps.

Any one can’t demonstrate good conduct and excellent behaviour as expected till he or she change himself or herself from within. Such is the case with Nepal police.

Nepal police, which have been enduring the criticism of being harsh for their brutal techniques while dealing with public during civil unrest or protest programme, is being trained to be more polite and asked to smile often while handling any situation.

The police force has recently completed a campaign “service with a smile” and as many as 700 trainers were deployed across the country to help officers become friendlier.

One of the most significant part of the security system in the country, the force hopes this campaign will improve its public image.

Police personnel were drawing negative feedback regarding their conduct and face serial of question in connection with the behavior they perform.

However, with the practice of novel technique, senior police officials believed that the campaign would bring about positive changes in the working pattern of the 67,000-strong force.

Earlier a few weeks ago, police officers in were asked to slim down as part of a new anti-obesity drive.
