KATHMANDU, Nepal–Realizing the significance of village tourism and to make publicity of local tourists hub city in international arena, a trekking route has been built at the initiation of locals of Ghorepani in Myagdi district in the Dhawalagiri Zone of northern-central Nepal.

The two-kilometer trekking route was constructed after letting out the congested horse trail at a cost of millions of rupees, according to national news agency RSS.

Similarly, construction works of trekking route linking tourist hub Ghorepani from Ghandruk have also been completed. 90 percent construction works of three-kilometer trekking route linking Ghorepani via Chitre and Punhil from Ghorepani have been completed.

A trek to Pun hill is the most spectacular short trek in the Annapurna region. It is perfectly positioned, 3,200 m high with close up view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges.
