KATHMANDU, Nepal– Members of Seven Summit Nepali Women Expedition have promised to accomplish their goal of summitting highest peak of all seven continents by the December 2014.
During a programme in the capital Kathmandu on Tuesday following the successful ascent of highest peak of South America, the team members said that they have planned to complete the ascent of seven summits of all continents by the end of the current year.
The team has already scaled the highest peaks of Asia, Austrilia, Africa, Europe and South America. it also eyes to scale the highest peak of North America in December 2014.
On the occasion, Saili Basnet, coordinator of the Seven Summit Women team informed that they have succeeded to ascend five peaks of five continents within the last five years. She urged one and all to provide necessary support for completing their expedition.
Officials at the Miistry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation have been reiterating their commitments of supporting the team in future.
