KATHMNDU, Nepal–Five foreign tourists have been rescued from Fewa Lake in Pokhara, a tourist hub city, located in the western province of Nepal. A team of the Armed Police Force personnel rescued the foreigners, whose boat had turned turtle in the Lake due to strong winds, Thursday.

Tourists from New Zealand and France were on the boat when the accident took place at 5:00 pm. The rescued tourists have been identified as Lewisgrace, 50, Ybo Ina, 30, of New Zealand and Ato Ine, 26, Enbo Gile, 26 and Qun Gin, 25, of France.

An APF team of seven personnel, including sub inspector Ramesh Bahadur Thapa, from the rescue tower on the banks of the Fewa Lake were involved in the rescue, according to police.
