Concern over pilgrimage travel during ‘Bangalore Tourism Fair’

KATHMANDU, Nepal–The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and country’s eight others noted travel and tour service providing companies took part in the travel and tourism fair held on 3-5 January in Bangalore of India.

During the fair thousands of visitors inquired about Nepal’s prime tourism attractions including pilgrimage travel like Pasupatinath, Muktinath and Manakamana, according to NTB.

Inquiry about Kailash yatra through Nepal was also the prime section of visitor’s inquiry from Nepal stall.

Soft adventure like trekking and rafting, leisure tour of Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan, and entertainment segments were also found equally fame among youth travelers.

Claimed as India’s biggest travel show, the fair created a better platform to set up the fruitful business contacts between exhibitors and the visitors.

Organized by Fairfest Media Company of India, which has 25 years of experience of organizing such tourism exhibitions, the fair was also a very appropriate medium to feature the destination management organizations unique offers to the focused audience.
