KATHMANDU, Nepal- Qatar Airways, the prominent airlines among the Middle East Gulf airlines, sponsored a tourism conclave — Tourism and Aviation Next 2013 — that held on Thursday, September 19, 2013.
The conclave has been participated together by various leading stakeholders from Nepal Tourism Board, hotels, resorts, domestic airlines, international airlines, helicopter services, adventure services, ground transport, tour operators, banks funding tourism initiatives, IT-telecom services for tourism, major airlines, tourism focused media among others.
Nepal has been a treasured destination for leisure, religious, adventure and nature tourism for the time immemorial, the participants share, adding that the pristine beauty of nature, unique culture and hospitality of Nepalis society are few that foreigners always admire. Keeping in the mind the same, the airways has organized the conclave.
The focus of this conference is to explore ways through deliberations and interactions of all major stakeholders of Nepali tourism to develop a premium tourism model, said the Qatar Airways.
