(English) Nepal Airlines aircraft with 15 passengers goes missing
KATHMANDU, Nepal–A Jumla-bound Nepal Airlines aircraft with 15 passengers on board has gone missing since Sunday afternoon.
The 19-seater twin otter that took off from Pokhara airport at 12:45 pm lost contact with air traffic control tower since 1:13, according to Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
The plan had to land on Jumla airport at 1:45 pm.
CAAN sources said a helicopter belonging to Nepal Army (NA) has been deployed to search for the missing aircraft.
