KATHMANDU, Nepal–Aiming half million Nepali youngsters, WWF Nepal has begun ‘Generation Green’, a five-year nationwide campaign which will serve as a bridge between the energy of youth and the experience of learn men to look after a living planet.
The campaign marks the power of youths regarding them agents of change, both individually as well as collectively.
It is believed that youngsters could join drive in bringing about environmental change and also change for the nation in general.
Annapurna Nanda Das, officiating secretary at the Ministry of Forests and Soil Conservation pledged ministry’s support for the campaign.
The campaign rests on a unique mentorship programme that brings together four dozen well-known citizens involved in diverse areas in the country.
