KATHMANDU, Nepal–Normal life across the hills of mid and far-western regions has been hit hard following heavy winter snowfall for a week.
The snow has blocked the major highways, causing hundreds of vehicles trapped in the roads, according to media reports.
Snowfall is reported to have disrupted the supply of daily commodities in many places of those mountain regions while most of offices and schools have been closed due to severe cold.
Talcha airport of Mugu district has been closed for the time being after the heap of snow covered its runway. This is the second time in this season that snowfall has blanketed in those reasons.
This is the second time in this season that snowfall has affected lives in the hilly regions in mid and far-western province.
