KATHMANDU, Nepal– Aiming to promote newly explored trekking trails of Nepal; various noted trekking agencies of Nepal are taking part in the Los Angeles Travel and Adventure Show 2014.
Led by Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN), the 12-member delegation team will promote newly explored trekking trails of Nepal like: Lumba Sumba, Ruby Valley, Lower Manslu, Rara Dolpa Circuit and Rara Khaptad among other areas.
A total of eleven trekking companies are taking part at the three-day event that started at Long Beach Convention Center, Los Angeles on February 8, according to TAAN.
TAAN is focusing its activities in line with its slogan ‘Nepal for All Seasons’. The Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show has been organizing for the past nine years and TAAN has been taking part in the event since 2012.
Rajendra Sapkota, coordinator of TAAN’s Nepal Promotion and Exhibition Department, is leading the delegation.
Dhampus village trek in Kaski and Royal Trek of Chisopani are some of the famous trek of Nepal while former offer a Mountain View of Mt. Annapurna, latter was constructed in the name of Britain Prince Charles.
