(English) Balancing the Eco-system!
KATHMANDU, Nepal – A Grey-backed Shrike Bird is seen eating an insect in this recent photo taken at Dillibazar in Kathmandu and published on the Kathmandu Post daily dated January 28, 2014. Known as ‘Himali Bhadrai’ in Nepali, the bird is about 25cm long from beak to tip of the tail and is found in altitude of 4,575m in summer. In winter it migrates to lowlands including Kathmandu Valley.
