Two Chinese tourists found dead in Nagarkot

KATHMANDU, Nepal – Two Chinese nationals who were residing in a local hotel in Nagarkot were found dead in their room Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Chendan and Chi Dong Yang.

Police said, other members of their group spotted them dead at their room in Hotel View Point  this morning.

Talking to NMF, Pravakar Khadka, the hotel staff confirmed the incident. However, he denied details as the police is investigating the case.

Police said they are investigating into the incident.

According to Khadka, 9-member Chinese tourist team had arrived at the hotel Thursday evening.

Nagarkot, located in Bhaktapur, is the most famous tourist spot in Kathmandu Valley. Hundreds of tourists visit the place every day for its unique specialty of mountain views and spectacular sun rise and sun set views.
