KATHMANDU, Nepal- Mt. Everest Diamond Jubilee Celebration is going to be held at Solvene Ethnographic Museum (SEM) in Slovenia on 6 December 2013.
Consulate General of Nepal in Slovenia, Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), Alpine Association of Slovenia (PZS), Solvene Ethnographic Museum and Museum of Gorenjska will jointly organize the celebration, informed an official at NMA, Nepal.
Everest summiteers from Slovenia will be awarded with Everest Daimond jubilee Medal on the occasion followed by the presentation of first ascent of International Expedition of Sloveniato Mt. Everest by Andrej Stremfeli.
The programme will also have the photographic exhibition titled ‘Mighty Faces-Top achievements by Slovene mountaineers in the Himalayas’ by Ms. Marija Orgin, director of Goreniska and Ms Jelena Justin, advisor of the museum.
