Bird collides with plane in mountainous district Jumla
KATHMANDU, Nepal-An aircraft belonging to Makalu Airlines was hit by a bird at Jumla Airport while landing on the runway on Sunday morning, according to Nepal Television, a state run broadcasting media.
Ratish Chandra Lal Suman, Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) informed a pigeon hit Makalu Air´s Cessna aircraft early morning sustaining a minor damage at the aircraft.
However, no human causality has been reported in the incident. Police is investigating about the incident.
