(English) Rice exchanges with salt

KATHMANDU, Nepal–In this picture by state run National News Agency RSS, locals at a remote village in Bichya VDC of Bajura district in Western Nepal exchanging rice with salt brought from Northern Neighbor China. With the villagers reeling under the sharp shortage of salt, they are compelled to trade it with rice.
