KATHMANDU, Nepal– In an attempt to study the possibilities of declaring the country a Free WiFi Zone, the Ministry of Information and Communications has formed a taskforce.
The taskforce has been constituted by the Ministry as per the concept developed by Minister for Information and Communications, Madhav Paudel, to make the country a Free WiFi Zone.
The taskforce incude representatives from Nepal Tele-communication Authority (NTA) as the coordinator, Technical Under-Secretaries at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the National Planning Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The taskforce has been directed to submit its report with suggestions and recommendations within one month.
