KATHMANDU, Nepal – These kids were caught in lens at the time when they were being prepared in traditional Nepali attire for Bhailo programme, a traditional song being sung during Tihar and supposedly by girls visiting doors of the neighbours and relatives. Deusi, the similar in type and supposedly being sung by boys, and Bhailo are the integral part of Tihar festival during which people visit long distance to sing the songs that begin with “Bhailini aayen aagana, guniu cholo maagana, hey ausi bara gai-thiharo bhailo” and “Bhanana bhaiho Deusi Re, Ye sor milai bhana Deusi Re”.
