KATHMANDU, Nepal- Bhagirathi Jora of Shreepur Kailali in Western Nepal pose for a photograph after being listed as a voter in the voters’ list being incorporated by the Election Commission in Dhangadi district. Jora, 37, who is just 24-inch tall, had reached the Kailali District Election Office to get herself registered in the voters’ list and everyone around stole a glance at her. She is certainly tall enough to draw the attention of the officials of the Guinness World Records. The current record holder for world’s shortest woman is India’s Jyoti Amge at 24.7 inches. Nepal’s Chandra Bahadur Dangi holds the record for world’s shortest man at 21.5 inches. Jora is the eldest among her six siblings.
