italian-climber-in-luklaKATHMANDU, Nepal- In this undated photo, an Italian climber waits for a flight at Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, Nepal. Following the bad weather, flights often cancelled to and from the airport during monsoon and winter. Carved out of side of a mountain, the airport was built by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1965, and at an altitude of 2,843 meters (9,325 feet) it has earned the reputation of being one of the most extreme and dangerous airports in the world.
