Russian Rozov jumps off Everest

KATHMANDU, Nepal-Another Russian national has held a new record by jumping off the world’s highest peak. Russian sports star Valery Rozov became the first person to jump off successfully from the North Face of Everest to the Base Camp. Rozov, 48, directly leap off to the base camp from the Everest with a special new wing suit to make the record on the occasion of sixty years of human assent on Everest.

The video of the jumping was made public by the Sherpa involving in his team. Rozov, who spent two years for the practice had reached the top in four days, reports said adding the initial phases were the most critical as Rozov felt nervous due to high altitude. Earlier, a veteran climber David Liano Gonzalez held a new record of summiting the peak from both sides.
