KATHMANDU, Nepal- A team led by a Nepali paraglider has successfully made a test flight of paragliding from the highest point so far in Nepal.
The team was led by world renowned paraglider Sanubabu Sunar.
The successful test of paragliding took place from Matelek to Patalechaur in Parbat, a western district, at a height of 3,100 meters on Thursday.
Two Nepali and two foreign gliders made a successful paragliding under the coordination of CNN Travels and Tours.
Paragliding so far was reported to have been carried out only at a height of between 1400 to 1600 meters.
