(English) Students learns Red Panda in curriculum

KATHMANDU, Nepal–With an attempt to conserve red panda, one of the animals facing extinct in the world, students from various schools of 10 VDCs in the Mountainous Illam district in eastern region are learning about red panda as daily teaching.

The curriculum prepared by Red Panda Network Nepal is disseminated to 25 schools in the district. The teaching on red panda will be conducted as per the curriculum in the ongoing academic session, according to ekantipur reports.

Similarly, the upper hilly herbs conservation and production association has provided two day training to trainer to the teachers from respective schools.
